The main thing is sweet mustard, everything else is white sausage. We've been producing this classic mustard according to the original idea since 1854. Does that mean that... Yes, exactly! We invented sweet mustard. Or rather, Johann Conrad von Develey. He dared the crazy culinary adventure and mixed caramelized sugar and select spices with spicy mustard. Does Develey also have vegan options?
Yes, our mustard creations are vegan and therefore pair perfectly with vegan meat substitutes. We even have pea-based white sausages these days. We also have various vegan sauces in our sauce range, such as our light mayonnaise or our BBQ sauce. Our balsamic dressing is also vegan and tastes wonderfully fresh with your crisp salad.
How is mustard made?
For our Develey mustards, select mustard seeds are ground. They are then mashed with water, sugar, vinegar, and spices. We use brown sugar instead of honey in our sweet mustard, which is why it's also vegan.
Where can I buy Develey products?
You can purchase our products here in our online shop. Delivery time is approximately 5 to 7 days. You'll get it faster if you go to your local supermarket. The good news is: Develey sauces, dressings, and mustards are available in almost every larger supermarket.
